Policy Holders

Mobile Electronics - All installation work is warranted by CIS and the installation facility.  The equipment carries the standard manufacturer’s warranty. If you would like to extend the warranty, CIS has that option available, please speak to your CIS representative for details.

Wheels and Tire - Wheels and Tires are covered against manufactures defects under the terms of the manufacturers’ warranty.  All replacement wheels and tires must be test fit on the vehicle before being mounted and driven on.  Once tires are mounted on the rims if sent separately or once the wheel is mounted to the vehicle and driven on they are not returnable unless there is a defect or warranty issue.  Please inspect all wheels carefully for damage sustained during shipping prior to mounting on the vehicle and you or the installation facility must contact CIS immediately if any damage is found.

Restoration - CIS’ proven techniques and proprietary chemical treatments will remove odors from the vehicle with minimal replacement of parts keeping repair times down and often returning the vehicle to a cleaner state than before the loss. CIS guarantees that all restoration and odor removal will be completed in a workmanship like manner. When the restoration is completed, and the vehicle is returned to the insured the odor will be eradicated.

How did you get my information?

You can click on the link to log in or you can visit https://cis.clickclaims.com/index.asp Your username and password are required if you have forgotten your password please contact CIS to have it reset. If you have any questions about submitting a claim please contact CIS at 630-616-1905 option 1 and our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.

No, only your insurance company and CIS can view and access your claim details.  Your personal information is held in strict confidentiality and not shared or sold.

How do I submit a claim?
Can anyone access my claim information?

Once you receive the confirmation of claim submission, you will have CIS’ five digit control number. You can log in to our claim management system and send additional notes directly into our claim notes by viewing your open files.  The updated or corrected information is saved directly into our file and CIS’ claim handler is notified of the new note by email.  You can also contact one of CIS’ representatives and they will assist you with any changes at 888-345-2700.

Installation is included as part of the claim and is covered by your insurance company. You should, however review your policy with your insurance handler in case there are any restrictions or limits on your policy. CIS includes an installation voucher with your equipment. When your equipment arrives simply take your equipment and voucher to the pre-arranged installation facility and give the voucher to the installer.

Please contact CIS or have the installer contact CIS if there are any questions regarding the voucher or any additional work or parts are found to be needed at the time of installation.

What if I submitted some incorrect information or

Proper documentation is often required to establish the type of equipment that was taken and the age of the equipment. This can be done through obtaining original receipts, boxes, owner’s manuals, or credit card statements. Some insurance companies may require you to file a police report and a sworn statement of loss. 

What can I do to expedite my claim?

CIS has a national network of installation facilities rated by the type and quality of service they provide.  Your CIS representative will search your area for the most qualified location to install the equipment included in your claim, or to handle the specific type of restoration required.  If you have a specific shop that is not part of our network we will contact them and explain our processes and work with the shop of your choice.  CIS is always looking for both recommendations from customers for new shops to partner with and feedback about your experience with our installation facilities and their personnel

After the claim is finalized you will be emailed a confirmation with links to your tracking information via UPS.com or you can contact CIS and we can provide you tracking information via UPS.  Please contact your claim handler for status of the replacement until the claim is finalized and (888) 345-2700 ext. 222 for our shipping department once everything has been confirmed and finalized by your CIS claims adjuster.

With your log in you will have access 24/7 to claim notes, uploaded documents and invoices for that specific claim or any claims you have submitted to CIS.

All defective items are handled under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty.  All non-defective returns are subject to CIS approval and restocking fees per our return policy.  Special order items and OEM electronics are non-returnable.  Wheels and tires once installed on a vehicle are non-returnable.  CIS includes our standard return policy information card with all equipment sent out.  Please take moment to read and become familiar with the policies.  You can contact your CIS representative for additional details, or click the link to view the full return policy.

Mobile services are available in many areas on a claim by claim basis. CIS will make every effort to provide mobile service when requested, but can not guarantee it is available in all markets.  CIS requires pre-authorization for mobile installations and inspections due to the additional charges that apply.
