C.I.S. has been working
with the insurance industry for over 27 years. We have built a reputation
with our knowledge, inventory level and, above all, our service.
We believe that an insured tests his/her policy whenever a claim is
submitted. It is our responsibility to show the insured that the system
works, that his/her claim is handled correctly, in a timely manner and
with no inconvenience.
We started this company in
1978, opening a retail stored named Mobile Music. Mobile Music expanded
into three locations and one of Chicagoland’s highest volume car audio
operations. The formula is the same now as it was in the beginning, great
values and the finest customer service. As the company grew, so did the
insurance division. Eventually the retail stores were sold off to devote
our time to the insurance industry.
C.I.S.’s facility is centrally located in the Chicago area. We have two
facilities totaling over 22,000 square-feet which include a large
repair/restoration shop, offices and a large warehouse. The large
warehouse enables us to purchase truckloads of product lowering insurance
prices and nearly guaranteeing that we will have the product in stock that
your insured will need for proper replacement.
C.I.S. has a
nationwide network of certified installation facilities allowing
us to schedule replacements near your insured's home or workplace. Our
associates can inspect the vehicle for indicators and
properly documenting the radio type that was in the insureds vehicle
before the theft. All of our installation facilities will also replace
damaged dash parts with OEM parts. To help speed up the replacement time,
C.I.S. inventories many panels and bezels.
In the
Chicago area,
C.I.S. has a number of mobile repair and estimating vehicles. These
vehicles are designed to go to an insured’s home or
workplace and complete all phases of the insurance claim.
C.I.S. inspects the vehicle for damage, documents the type of radio and
orders OEM parts as necessary. The object of the mobile service is to
eliminate any inconvenience to the insured. In the event the damage cannot
be repaired with our mobile service, C.I.S. can arrange to pickup and
deliver the insured’s vehicle. Most often, there is no charge for this
service.
Our claim handlers and
technicians have replaced car audio systems valued from a few hundred
dollars to systems retailing for tens of thousands of dollars. Through the
years, C.I.S. has won numerous car audio competitions and has earned
national recognition for the quality of our installations and service.
